Koh Wao is one of the most northerly islands in the Ang Thong National Marine Park and it is located 30 km north west of Koh Samui.
Typical journey time is around 85-90 minutes from northern Koh Samui.
This is a good site not just for divers but also for snorkelers from beginner to expert. The site offers magnificent corals and schools of reef fish. Depths up to approximately 20 meters.
The view is almost as great above the surface as it is below, showing the truly beautiful side of Thailand.
Consisting of three islands with a shallow, sheltered bay in between, making it well-suited for snorkeling. The underwater life is not as abundant as at Koh Tao, but it is refreshing to jump into the water and swim around the beautiful bay, where you will get a good glimpse of the Park’s marine life.
